The enclosed picture is of a stainless steel object that can be found outside of the civic offices of Stoke on Trent City Council. This object cost more than £200,000! I am hoping that someone reading this blog can interpret this object for me. In the absence of any credible explanation (from anybody else) I will resort to my own analysis and view this object as a load of pretentious art college junk masquerading as something that has relevance to the general population.In fact I'll go further than that and declare this 'thing' as a vile insult to those who have to view it. I'm sorry to have to go on about these nonsense art pieces but they really make me angry.....gggrrrr!!!!
My daughter suggested that it chronicles the demise of the country - starting at the highest point and spiralling down to the drain - I thought that was rather good.
