I Conquered Snowdon

Along with several members of Stoke BNP I made it to the top of Mount Snowdon (Wales) a couple of Saturday's ago. We went up the 'Pig Path' all the way to the top, I have to admit that some of our number did not make it - due to ill health.

I have climbed this mountain twelve times now and the new cafe on the top is mightily welcome after the climb, but I felt that the two Cornish Pasties and two cup of coffee (£10.00!) was over priced.

We descended the mountain via the track that follows the railway line, then I walked to the park and ride to get the car.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the climb and have planned a number of further expeditions for later in the year - if you are interested in coming along give me a bell on 07926532922.
